This full day tour combines a driving tour through the city, and visits to the Peter-and-Paul Fortress and the world-known State Hermitage Museum. You will drive by the main city street - the Nevsky prospect, have several stops at the most picturesque places for a great photoshooting, than visit the birthplace of the city - the Peter-and-Paul Fortress and it's cathedral, that holds the tombs of the Russian Tsar's, and then, proceed to the greatest museum in Russia, the Hermitage, with it's parade halls and innumerous collections of paintings, statues and objects of applied art.

You will see the unique renovated baroque interiors and the collection of personal belongings of wealthy family. Mikhailovsky Castle was built for the Emperor Paul I by the architects Brenna and Bazhenov as his official residence. This unlucky emperor ruled the country for only 5 years and was killed by the group of the court conspirators. The recently restored interiors of the castle and it's exhibition, will tell about the history of the building and the life of it's inhabitants.
