During this walking tour you will visit the places associated with a special period in the personal life of Fyodor Dostoevsky. This places bring back memories of the years of hard creative work and the heroes of the novel "Crime and Punishment. Here, in this dark houses lived the heroes of the novel - Rodion Raskolnikov, Sonya Marmeladova and Alyona Ivanovna - the old pawnbroker. You will get acquainted with one of the most interesting aspects of life in old St. Petersburg - its' tenement houses. You will be able to imagine, what was the life in these houses, in this poorly furnished flats and small ugly rooms. During this tour, you will see St. Petersburg as a source of inspiration of Dostoevsky, the city of his youth, his great successes, but also a city of his severities and losses.
